DrupalCon Sydney adds new tracks + more featured sessions

Hopefully the featured sessions we've already revealed have whet your appetite for the feast to come at DrupalCon Sydney. Because we've got some more tasty treats to add to that line up. Last week we featured sessions in traditional DrupalCon tracks Coding & Development and Sitebuilding. Today we'll take a look at sessions in two tracks new to the DrupalCon experience: Content Authoring and in-depth Case Studies, as well as DrupalCon favourites Business & Strategy, Frontend and Community.

Josh Waihi will speak in the Case Studies track News & Media Case Study: South China Morning Post.
Jeff Eaton explores our new track on Content Authoring with Building for a Post-Mobile World.
John Albin lights up the Frontend track with CSS is for Clark Kent. Sass is for Superman.
Nicole Lind talks Business & Strategy looking at How to Create "Drupal Candy" for Motivating and Maintaining your Drupal Talent!
MortenDK puts the focus on the Community with It's not "their Drupal" - It's OUR Drupal.

Perhaps you too could present at DrupalCon Sydney? Please take a look over our session tracks and consider adding your own session!

Local Headliners, International Cast

Keen eyes may already have spotted a new page on this site showcasing our featured sessions.

We're delighted to announce two speakers that are both well known in the Australian Drupal community will be presenting sessions at DrupalCon Sydney. We welcome Erica "ericaordinary" Bramham and Justin "beejeebus" Randell.

Erica's "All Node, No Code" session at Drupal Downunder in Melbourne was a surprise hit, with one attendee proclaiming it to be their favourite session.

"What a fantastic presentation! This talk was so motivating and gave me the confidence boost I needed to feel like I can go further with Drupal than I have managed to so far. The content was clear and easy to follow. It ended the conference on a really high note! By far the best session I attended - I loved it."

Erica will deliver an encore performance in Sydney with "The Naked Node: code-free Drupal" for beginners in the Site Building track.

At the other end of the scale we have Justin Randell delivering an advanced Code and Development session on "Configuration management in Drupal 8". Justin is a core contributor, and recently flew interstate to support Australia's first core sprint, resulting in committed patches from first time contributors.

Adding to that, the supporting international cast is full of Drupal celebrity star power:

Addison "add1son" Berry will explain the vision behind "The Drupal Ladder: Resources for meetups to help members learn and contribute" in the Community track
Jen "jenlampton" Lampton will present her secrets on how to "Build better websites with Panels" in the Site Building track.
Vesa "wesku" Palmu will share his experience in the Business and Strategy track on "Applied agile for Drupal projects"
